This is seriously impressive stuff – the guys from the unrevoked team did it again, and this version 3.2 is definitely their best release yet. Most of the credit, outside of the core unrevoked team, belongs to Sebastian Krahmer for discovering the exploit that works on all supported phones. Smart phones seem to be getting bigger and bigger these days. With phones like the HTC EVO and the Droid X out there sporting 4.3” screens, you can be hard pressed to find a third party mount that fits. Arkon hopes it has the solution. Handset maker Motorola is advising Droid X customers to shy away from manually installing the leaked Froyo builds making their rounds.  According to them, this could leave you S.O.L. when it comes to the official update. It looks as though some pretty convincing evidence has surfaced regarding Big Magenta’s successor to the G1, the HTC Vision/Tmobile G2.  Speculation has been going on for months about the G2 , and we have covered it every step of the way, but this is the first time we have some hardcore evidence supporting the September 29th launch date. Reports have surfaced tonight that the Flash 10.1 OTA will be hitting Droid handsets tomorrow and be continuing through the week. This update arrives on top of the Android 2.2 update which arrived earlier and will allow Droid 1 handsets to download the official version of Flash 10.1 from the Android Market.  Enjoy it folks! MobileBurn is reporting that Android 2.2 Froyo is finally rolling out to Vodafone UK customers using the HTC Desire handset. Users on Vodafone should see the update soon if they haven’t gotten it already. It has to feel pretty damn good that they can now officially get some Froyo goodness. Let us know how you like it! It’s only been three days since Froyo for the Droid X leaked and now Motorola is pressuring sites to remove the download. The reasoning for this hasn’t been made clear but if you were hoping to get an early helping of Froyo on your Droid X you better get to work now, finding the leak will only get harder from here on out. We have seen some of the blurrier pics and leaks of just what the R2-D2 edition of the DROID2 would look like. But today, VZWOffers posted an “official” image of the rear of the phone on the marketing poster. And the best part is that it’s right next to the little guy, er, droid.
