Nexus One, HTC Legend & HTC Desire Appear on Vodafone’s “Coming Soon” Section

March 12th, 2010 admin

The code monkeys at Vodafone look like they’ve been rather busy today! The usually rather vacant ‘coming soon’ section of Vodafone’s UK website has just today added 3 of the latest handsets including the HTC Legend and HTC Desire clearly pointing out they’re coming in “April” with the Nexus one still “coming soon” – however we do expect the Nexus One to also be available in April. Why not have some screen-shots to gaze over: Vodafone sure are jumping on the Android bandwagon! Offering the Legend, Desire, X10, Nexus one and possibly even making there own Android based device . Their ‘ coming soon ‘ section has never looked so nice – oozing with Android offerings! :D

HTC Delivering Froyo to the HTC Desire and Legend Within the Next Two Weeks?
We knew Google was drumming up to a grand final release of Android 2.2 (codenamed Froyo) soon, but we only expected the update to rollout for Nexus One devices initially (or perhaps it’s more accurate to say that we’re most confident that the Nexus One will get it first). It seems HTC might be gearing up for their launch of Froyo across...

HTC’s gone on record to officially acknowledge that the HTC Desire , HTC Legend , and HTC Wildfire will be getting an upgrade to Android 2.2 sometime in Q3 of this year. HTC Legend, Desire and Wildfire due for Froyo upgrade in Q3
HTC has made it official: the HTC Legend, HTC Desire and HTC Wildfire are slated to get Android 2.2 sometime in Q3 of 2010. What does that mean for users? Well, considering Q3 starts on 7/1 and ends on 10/1, that means that there will be a lot of anxiousness, followed (most likely) by a lot of waiting. According to a spokesman for HTC: “We...

HTC Desire coming to US Shores (and carriers) this August
Well it’s official, the dress-up Nexus One is coming to the US of A. You need to read the fine print though, because the Desire will be released through regional carriers only. This means it won’t be available through the big guys. Kind of disappointing if you ask me. Anyway, it sports the same hardware as the Nexus One, with the only...
